Jeremiah Szabo // Safe Food Alliance

Jeremiah Szabo joined Safe Food Alliance in 2010, focusing his attention in providing member and client services, while providing operational management in the northern region of the state. Beginning in 2012, he served as Director of Operations, overseeing Food Safety Training & Consulting, Laboratory and Commodity-Quality Inspection operations. He currently holds the position of Vice President of Professional Services, overseeing all client related services company-wide. His education and experience background includes a B.Sc. degree in Biological and Chemical Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus, with 16 years of food industry experience working in the fields of quality control/quality assurance, HACCP management, USDA grade standards, laboratory management, food safety training, auditing and consulting. His prior food processing experience includes work in food sector categories such as dairy (hard cheese & whey production), fruit juice/puree and juice concentrates, fresh to frozen fruits & vegetables, frozen solid packed fruit, and direct to consumer (RTE) IQF fruits and vegetables. He is also an SQF auditor, BRC Technical Expert & auditor, Certified HACCP auditor, FSPCA – PCQI Lead Instructor, PSA – Produce Safety Rule Lead Instructor, HACCP Instructor, Food Safety Consultant, and is a member of the American Society for Quality and the International Association for Food Protection.
