Charles is well versed in the food safety and quality assurance field within the harvest, manufacturing, distribution and foodservice industry. Currently he is the Director of Quality Assurance, Regulatory and Technical Services, for Sysco Corporation based in Houston, Texas. There he is responsible for Sysco’s regulatory compliance, market action processes and the business technology solutions for Sysco QA. Charles is an accomplished protein industry professional and led Food Safety and Quality Assurance for the Sysco Specialty Meat Group. Prior to Sysco he led various teams in Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Operations and Environmental Health and Safety at Cargill Meat Solutions and Kane Beef. Charles graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science, and a Masters of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University.
