When does the Early Bird Rate end?

The early bird rate will be available through February 14, 2018. When this rate ends, the general admission price will take over. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any exceptions once this rate expires.

How do I receive the group discount pricing?

There are two levels of group discount pricing. 4+ will each receive 10% off conference registration only and 10+ attendees will each receive 15% off the standard registration price. For the group discount please contact staceys@safefoodalliance.com for registration instructions in order to receive large group pricing.

I cannot pay for my registration with a credit card, can I be invoiced?

In order to be invoiced for your registrations, your company must be a Safe Food Alliance Partner.

What is your registration cancellation policy?

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by March 2, 2018. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests postmarked after March 2, 2018. Submit all requests to SFC Registration via email at staceys@safefoodalliance.com. SFC regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.

If I am unable to make it to SFC, can someone go in my place?

Yes, of course. Registrations may be transferred to another attendee at no additional charge. We ask that you notify SFC so that we can amend appropriate records. Please include name of current registrant and name, title, company and email address of the person who will be taking their place. Onsite transfers must be accompanied by proof of the original confirmation letter.

Are there student, government, or military discounts?

We do not have these types of discount available.

How do I receive the SFC Conference group rate at the Hyatt Indian Wells?

The SFC group rate is $229 per night for a standard room plus tax and fees. Reservations are available online at: https://aws.passkey.com/go/SafeFoodAlliance or call the hotel directly at (888) 421-1442. Callers must identify their affiliation with “Safe Food California Conference” to receive the group rate.

When is the last day I can reserve a room at the group rate?

Last day to reserve your room at the group rate is Monday, March 5th. But this does not mean that we won’t sell out before this date so be sure to reserve early!

I would like to speak at the Safe Food California Conference, how can I go about doing this?

Our Request for Proposals is now closed. We will open our 2018 call for speakers in June of 2018. Please contact Stacey Scholz at staceys@safefoodalliance.com with the email title “2019 SFC Speaker Proposal” to be considered.

Do I need to check in when I arrive?

You do have to check in to receive your name badge and registration bag. We will be checking name badges at the door. Check-in and registration will take place outside of the Exhibit Hall in the Indian Wells Ballroom. Please have your confirmation on hand just in case.

Will food be available at the SFC?

Yes, there will be food—lots of it! Hors d’oeuvres & beverages will be available at the Craft Brew Social on Wednesday evening during our networking reception. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Thursday & Friday. Snacks and beverages will be served at the networking breaks throughout the conference. If you register to attend the Gala it includes entertainment, a reception and plated dinner on Thursday evening in a lively social environment!

What is the dress code?

Attire is business casual. A tie is not mandatory.  Networking is a huge part of this event, so dress in the style that you think best represents you professionally.

I need meeting space or a place to relax. Where can I go?

Visit our Charging Lounge in the Exhibit Hall, designed to give all attendees a place to get some work done, meet with other attendees and relax.

Will you watch my stuff?

No, but after checking out and if you need a place to hold your luggage, the Hyatt Indian Wells does offer a luggage hold service.

How can I give my feedback?

A survey will be emailed to you after the event.

Will we have access to presentations after the event?

Yes, the presentations will be available after the event. We will email you information once you complete our attendee survey so that you can access these at your convenience.
